About Us

Founded by two freelance CRAs with over 30 years combined clinical research experience in Phases I through IV, we have a strict commitment to quality, project timelines and client satisfaction.

Eric Drupals, Co-Founder 

With over 18 years of clinical trial experience, Eric began as a Freelance CRA in 1997, working on large international and local clinical trials in both pharmaceuticals and medical device. He has an extensive background in quality assurance and GCP auditing and has conducted numerous for cause and practice audits both locally and internationally. A previous Associate Director of Research and Development for the Calgary General Hospital, Eric was instrumental in developing a Pharmacoeconomics program for the Western Canada Behavioural Research Centre and the Depression Information Line for Alberta Physicians. He has a passion for continuing education, has designed numerous SOPs for research institutions and is a member of the Certification Committee for the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA). Eric was President of the Society and sat on the Board of Directors from 1998 to 2004.

 Christine Lewczuk, Co-Founder

With over 10 years of patient care experience and 15 years of local and international clinical trial experience, Christine is an engaging presenter and published writer. Trained as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and having practiced in Toronto’s premier teaching hospitals: University Health Network, Women’s College Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Christine has comprehensive acute care, chronic care and device clinical experience.  She was responsible for running the Canadian Simulation Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital long before simulation gained popularity in healthcare. After being sought after and engaged in multiple research studies in the hospital setting, Christine became a freelance CRA in 2005.  She has worked on numerous studies in Phases I-IV and has completed contracts in Project Management, Protocol Design, Central Data Monitoring, Medical Writing and Clinical Research Auditing.  A former Research Manager at an established Toronto Respiratory Clinic, she was responsible for the functional leadership of the centre’s clinical trials and was instrumental in substantially advancing the site’s operations, performance and study portfolio.  Christine’s passion is protocol design and medical device trials.
